This time there's no controversy. Canada's adopted son, Lucian Bute of Romania successfully defended his IBF Super Middleweight title against Colombia's Fulgencio Zuniga via TKO in the 4th. Bute managed to circle around Zuniga for most of the fight while tagging him with excellently placed jabs. The beginning of the end came with a wicked left to the gut that knocked the wind out of Zuniga. The Colombian beat the count but was obviously still laboring to catch his breath. Bute quickly unleashed fury until the referee finally stepped in to save Zuniga from further damage. Bute was impressive. He showed why he is one of the best super middleweights in the world. Librado Andrade must now fulfill the end of his deal by defeating Vitali Tsypko on April 4 to deserve a rematch and finally put to rest the controversy from October. ESPN; Boxing Scene; Fight News
Prediction Results:I am a round short but I still got the winner right. My streak is still alive!
My running score is now up to 9-0 and 1 draw. Titleholder won therefore, there are no changes in the tally.
